The Jonsson Color Garden is 6.5 acres of more than 2,000 varieties of azaleas. The Lay Ornamental Garden is 2.2 acres in a Texas cottage garden, filled with hundreds of perennials and a dynamic falling water curtain set against native limestone walls. TGhere are also bronze wildlife figures nestled throughout the garden.
Idea #2: Crow Collection of Asian Art – Dallas, Texas. Japanese Folk Art is also displayed at the museum. On display will also be selection of objects from the permanent collections of the Crow Collection of Asian ARt and works on loan from the Collection of Penn and Margaride Williamson in Houston and the Collection of John L. and Rosemarie in San Antonio. Friends of The Crow Collection receive 2 hours of complimentary parking in the garage. Gallery Photography Policy: Still photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use only in the Museum’s galleries devoted to the permanent collection. Works of art on loan from private collections or other institutions may not be photographed.
Of course there are a lot of other destinations that you may want to experience on your Alaska vacation.
